On every Saturday and Sunday, students of different classes join the theatre workshops being conducted by us. These workshops are conducted by director of Pragya Cultural Centre Smt Jayasree Bhattacharyya who is herself is also the Guru . Our senior members, viz., Shri Samrat Ray, Smt Jayanti Sinha, Smt Malabika Dutta, Smt Moumita Bhattacharyya , Susmita Bhattacharya and others are regularly conducting acting ,dance, recitation and music classes enriching the children culturally. All these are enabling them to create new new theatrical productions.
This year, we presented a New Production Atlas by the students of Swami Maha Devananda Vidyayatan For Girls, Barrackpur ,WB.
Ms. Jayasree Bhattacharyya, Secretary and Director of Pragya conducted a theatre workshop with the students of the school from Class V to Class VIII.
Through this workshop, they guided the students and successfully created a theatre production titled “Mini Atlas.”
The method of training and the theatre process adopted by Pragya Cultural Centre greatly inspired, encouraged, and uplifted our students, enhancing their confidence, creativity and cultural awareness.

Pragya Cultural Centre has been working for several years (from 2018) with SC, ST and general students of Kheadaha High School {H.S.). During the year 2025-2026, Pragya created a production called "CHAKA" with the students of our school, which achieved remarkable success, securing 1st position among 107 schools across West Bengal. Our students won top honours in all major categories, including Best Production, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress. The achievement was also widely appreciated and featured in newspapers.

Pragya Cultural Centre, Kolkata, has been working dedicatedly with Boynala Adibasi F.P. School throughout the academic year for the holistic development of our students through theatre training and various performing arts activities, including Puppetry, Raibenshe, and Bratachari.
The organisation conducts regular theatre training sessions and workshops on a weekly basis throughout the year. We have observed remarkable improvement in our students' confidence, creativity, communication skills, discipline, teamwork, and overall personality development as a result of these activities.
During the academic year 2025–2026, Pragya Cultural Centre successfully produced a theatre performance titled "Hush Hush", written and directed by Kingshuk Das (National School of Drama – Tripura Passout), featuring the students of our school. The production was highly appreciated and provided our children with a valuable platform to express themselves through the performing arts.

We also conducted theatre related workshop at these Four schools every Saturday by Sushmita Urang, Bijay Sankar Sardar, Tapan Sardar , Naresh Banerjee and Jayasree Bhattacharyya.

The schools celebrates all major Days like Independence Day/ Republic Day etc. These children have performed small skits at these programmes using there theatrical skills.
They are now getting trained in CHOW DANCE and Raebenshe. This will enrich them to perform better. They are also taught to play the Indigenous drums ( Dhama/ Mandol) and get training on rhythms also.
Pragya Cultural Centre regularly conducts awareness-based theatre on important social issues such as Child Marriage, Drug Abuse, and Alcoholism. We hope their best efforts go from strength to strength in the future.

A small settlement Nukkar at Burrabazar area in Kolkata where people fight to survive.Still they remain happy after day long hard work.All of a sudden a rowdy along with his gangstars emerged there.Settlement gets disturbed and they became together to protest the oppression and protect themselves.
