Pragya Cultural Centre was registered on 16th February, 2001 in Kolkata. We focus on cultural activities such as drama, dance, rhythm, and social initiatives across tribal villages and schools.Thius is the Silver Jubilee Yeatr of the Centre/p>

We organised several seminars also during the years We continued projects at IIMC, Challapara , Kheadaha High School and FP School, Boynala producing theatrical works with children. Through out the year, we conduct regular theatre works at our Theatre Space Basa . Seminar
School Projects
Ms. Jayasree Bhattacharyya, Secretary and Director of the said organization, conducted a theatre workshop with the students of SWAMI MAHADEVANANDA VIDYAYATAN FOR GIRLS' from Class V to Class VIII.
Through this workshop, they guided the students and successfully created a theatre production titled “Mini Atlas.”
The method of training and the theatre process adopted by Pragya Cultural Centre greatly inspired, encouraged, and uplifted our students, enhancing their confidence, creativity and cultural awareness.
